Terms and Conditions for all services provided by Sew.It.Seams

0.) I am not a professional. Please remember this at all times while working with Sew.It.Seams services.

1.) Please remember that all services purchased are under contract.

2.) Please, if you have any questions, ask before purchasing any service.

3.) I require $50 or 50% Down Payment before I begin work. Exceptions are Hems, mild Alterations and mild Repairs. This payment is then added to the total cost of services rendered.

4.) I reserve the right to add a 20% increase to any rush order (usually needed within 2  weeks, and bumps a prior client behind.) I reserve the right to add up to a 50% increase on urgent orders (needed in less than a week, regardless of other clients.) I work on a first come first served basis.

5.) I reserve the right to cancel any pending order of services without a reason given.

6.) All information exchanged is kept private and will not be shared with third parties.
6a.) When needing a service that requires measurements, please don't wear thick or baggy
clothes. This does cause problems with the clothes
fitting you properly.

7.) Questions are not stupid! Please ask before committing to any contract.

8.) Please, no wool. I am allergic.

9.) Please, no scented detergents either.

10.) There is an option open to have me purchase all necessary materials. I will ask that necessary funds to be paid forward for said materials. Any excess will be forwarded credit towards services ordered. NO EXCEPTIONS!!! Please note that I do my best to keep costs low when making purchases. And be aware that some types of fabric are pricey.

11.) Time needed to finish orders varies between what service is needed, and to what extent. A tailored job will require more time than a repair. Know that I give my best to all the work I do within the time I have. Hems and small repair services usually have a one to one and a half hour turn around.
11a.) Please use digression and common sense. If what you are expecting and requesting
will take longer than what you need the article finished
and returned to you by,
please don't ask me for a miracle. It causes problems that are best avoided. But
if you are determined to contract
my services, I will give it my best, using what skills
and materials I have at hand to meet your demand.

11b.) If you are unsure about anything, or have second thoughts, I ask you, please don't
continue through with signing a contract for my services.

12.) For reproduction orders, $15.00 will be charged. This covers the materials used in making a test piece to ensure accuracy and quality, especially important in altered clothing (i.e. resizing). Afterward, the test piece is available to you if you wish. For repeat reproduction orders, the pattern is kept on hand, making the charge a one-time-only.

13.) Shipping is to be paid by client both ways. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
13a.) Shipping large orders over 5 lbs will be sent via USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Boxes.
13b.) Shipping small orders under 5 lbs will be sent via USPS First Class or Parcel Post, or
            whatever service is the cheapest.

14.) I work with PayPal. If you don't have an account with them, that is fine, we can work something out. PayPal just makes things faster and simpler.

15.) Orders will be shipped out the next business day from confirmed payment. Insurance and Tracking available upon request. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST PACKAGES!

16.) QUESTIONS ARE NOT STUPID!!!!!
